International activities of the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of the PFUR
The Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology RUDN have been successfully cooperating for many years with many universities, institutes and educational centers in Europe and Latin America.
According to the results of the national rankings 2013/2014 academic year ofthe Interfax news agency (published June 5, 2014) among classical, federal and national research universities in terms of the development of international activities (internationalization) the PFUR won the first place.
PFUR and Universities of Spain
The Department of Foreign Languages, in recent years, has successfully developed international cooperation with a number of universities of Spain, where the students during the academic year or semester pass trainings, specializing in the field of philology and linguistics, enriching their knowledge of modern techniques of European education. Department of Foreign Languages provides exchange programs and joint educational programs with the following universities of Spain:

Students from the Spanish universities involved in exchange programs, are invited on the conditions specified in the CONTRACT OF EXCHANGE.
Education in the People's Friendship University of Russia is carried out according to internal plans - 1 semester = 30 credits !!!
In 2013, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology opened a joint inter-university master's program "Theory of Translation and Intercultural Communication" 032700 "Philology" (People's Friendship University - Southern Federal University, Rostov)
The Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of the PFUR successfully cooperates with linguistic summer schools in Spain, in which our students are trained and receive certificates.
