GENERAL AND SPECIFIC METHODOLOGY OF PHILOLOGICAL SCIENCE
DEAR COLLEAGUES,

University professors and lecturers, researchers, post-graduate and PhD students!
In the first week of April 2023, from 3 to 8 April, the Department of general and Russian linguistics of the Philological faculty of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (Moscow, 10 Mikluho-Maklaya st., Bld. 2, a), will organize the scientific training program “GENERAL AND SPECIFIC METHODOLOGY OF PHILOLOGICAL SCIENCE”.

The program was developed by the prof. O.I. Valentinova, Assoc. S.Yu. Preobrazhensky, Assoc. M.A. Rybakov, PhD. N. A. Bubnova.

The purpose of the program: to discuss and substantiate the research effectiveness of the fundamental and latest methodological achievements of philological science based on the idea of the necessary relevance of the research methods to the properties of the object under study.

The scientific potential and theoretical developments of the department make it possible to apply the principles of systemicity to the study of language and text as a whole: to understanding the evolution of the methodology of general, comparative-typological and specific linguistics; to creating functional semantic models of separate language levels; to the study of text as a historical and aesthetic phenomenon; to the search and development of new principles of typology of non-literary and literary, prosaic and poetic texts.

The program is designed for 72 academic hours: it includes lectures and scientific discussions, round tables. The duration of the training is one week. At the end of the program a scientific conference is held. At the end of the training, participants receive state-approved certificates.

You can take part in the program of scientific training on- or off-job. Full-time and part-time forms are provided.

The meetings begin at 16.00 on weekdays (from 16.00 to 20.00) and at 12.00 on Saturday at the address: Moscow 10 Mikluho-Maklaya st, Bld. 2, a.
During the training, you can stay at the hotel of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. The cost of a room is 2600 rubles per day, the cost of a twin room is 1300 rubles per day for one person.

The fee for employees of RUDN: 4900 rubles.
The fee for external students: 5600 rubles.

To complete the scientific training, the listeners who pay for the program by themselves, are requested to send a letter until March 1, 2023 indicated “Scientific Training” in the subject line to nauka-stazhirovka@yandex.ru. The letter must contain:
1) completed information form of the participant,
2) scan (pdf) of the completed application (for individuals) with your personal signature (see the file with application forms),
3) scan (pdf) of permission to process personal data,
4) scan (pdf) of the diploma of higher education.
After receiving these documents, the Department of continuing education of the Philological Faculty (DPO) forms a personal file, enters the listener into the database and sends an invoice that you can pay at any bank in Russia.
